Vivanterre's Orange Contact SGU 2021 is a beautiful orange wine consisting of a blend of 30% Auxerrois, 30% Pinot Blanc, 20% Gewurztraminer, 10% Ugni Blanc and 10% Grenache Gris.

• The Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc come from a biodynamic vineyard in Rosenwiller (Alsace) on clay-limestone with 50-year-old vines.
• The Gewurztraminer comes from 35-year-old vines from Heiligenstein (Alsace).
• The Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc are co-fermented in Foudre.
• The Gewurztraminer is fermented and has lain in both stainless steel tanks and amphora.
• The Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Gewurztraminer all had three weeks of peel maceration.
• The Grenache Gris and Ugni Blanc come from the south of France, near Pinet (Languedoc). These were co-fermented in fiberglass tanks and had two weeks of maceration.

Vinification took place without filtering, clarification or any addition of sulfite. Blending took place just before bottling in June 2022.
